Morning Announcements
High school:
Teachers and Work Based Learning students: Please keep in mind that WBL students can leave during their regular scheduled work time (either 10.30am or 12.25 pm) regardless of schedule changes, so they might be missing some classes later in the day. If their WBL period is before their dismissal time, students need to report to Ms. Draper’s room (2215) and work on assignments for the class they will be missing later in the day or they will be marked absent.
In-person ticket sales for prom begin Monday during high school lunches. The last day to purchase tickets is Thursday the 15th, which is also the final day to submit guest forms. Seniors, watch for a link in ManageBac on Monday to cast your vote for Prom King and Queen. Our royalty will be announced at 8:30 pm on prom night.
Your Signal Mountain Girls Flag Football team notched another shutout Saturday over Brainerd 26-0. The defense scored on a Lauren Higdon Pick 6 and a safety. Offensively, Miley Turner, Trinity Springer, and Madison Tate added TDs.
But they’re not done.
Tonight, they take on Bradley Central for Senior Night, 5:30 JV, 7p for Varsity. Don’t miss a second!

Middle School:
Friday Night Futbal returned to the Mtn with two great games for the Screaming Eagles against East Lake. In the JV game, the team came back from being down three times to pull out an exciting 5-4 win in the closing minutes. Grant Kessler scored twice while Wrigley Todd got the hat trick! Ian Cunningham, Eli Hammargren and Reid Knappier all had assists along the way.
The Varsity team also went down early and had to claw their way back. They tied it when Luke Rivers fed Landon Gohl for the first goal to end the first half. In the second half, Reid Wells scored and Barrett Ashton got an assist. Wes Ledbetter, Blevin Johnson and Barrett Ashton are all claiming the third goal. Final was 3-1 Eagles. Way to go Eagles!
The team takes on East Ridge today at 5:00 pm. Regular season champions are on the line, so come out and watch!
